swacholtz Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Hi, I need an idea for a science fair project really quickly. Perhaps something associated with agriculture or electricity or maybe alternate fuels. Ideas in any field would be really appreciated. I can spend around 100 dollars. Thanks in advance for helping.
Phi for All Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Send me the 100 dollars and I'll show you how to get methane using a cattle prod. Agriculture, electricity and alternative fuels all in one.
ecoli Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 send me a hundred bucks and I'll give you 3 copper engravings of president Lincoln... trust me, their collectables, and the value will go up over time.
Helix Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Ok after factoring in your price range I think an experiment in alternative fuels is a good path. I would construct the experiment as a comparison and then change the varibles (such as temperature or amount of fuel or something) and see which preforms better. So $20 of gas, $10 solar cells around $50-70 for a small cheap diesel engine (I think you can get them that cheap, not sure) and some third fuel. That's just one basic idea, hope that can help. If not I hope it didn't completly waste neuronal space.
