Bio-Hazard Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 So what is your education level? I'm curious.. What's your specialty? Me: Science Major
insane_alien Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 highschool just now but i am studying for a masters degree in chemical engineering
Dudde Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I had, at one point at the end of my high school career, my CCNA (networking) then I went to college, and now I'm dumb. huh. I plan on retaking up either my networking interest or teaching as soon as I get back to Moses Lake and have some money
Klaynos Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Quick question: Is this what you're currently studying or what you've completed?
Mokele Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Bachelor's degree, twice (aerospace eng, then I said to hell with money and went for my dream, biology), currently in Masters for Bio. Mokele
Bio-Hazard Posted October 14, 2005 Author Posted October 14, 2005 highest level.. however you can shun me for not including less than highschool or trade
ecoli Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 i put "some college" as I am not finished yet... in fact I have just started.
Nevermore Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I havn't completed highschool yet. I would say my "specialty", as you put it is a toss up between tech and biology.
Karnage Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Im just about to complete high school. However, I am an expert in the three branches of science (biology, chemistry, physics) and I also love US history, which I am also good at. Mathematics is definitely one of my strongest subjects. However, english is not my strength - only my vocab is decent. Otherwise, I even have trouble writing this blurb...
mic of orion Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 BA in War Studies, thought to do MA, and eventually PHD, but after 1 year's fellowship at Kings Collage I gave up, I was offered great job, and my intellectual stimuli lost direction, if you get my gist, lol...
Tigerbeam Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 high school, sorta. its assuming i dont fail this year.
BobbyJoeCool Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 first year (of 5) at college. Physics Major, Chem Minor, and Math Minor... and I still have almost enough electives to get another minor (if I did, I'd probably do Biology, but instead I'll take more Physics classes and some other things I'm interested in)... Eventually, I want to go onto Grad School and get a PhD... and I'd like to specialize in Astrophysics or Quantum Mechanics...
Klaynos Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Second year of a Quantum Science and Laser technology, Physics Masters Degree... But I don't know much physics hence most of my replys to people are useless :|
swansont Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Im just about to complete high school. However, I am an expert in the three branches of science (biology, chemistry, physics) No offense, but from what you posted, how do you come to that conclusion?
Dudde Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 maybe he just meant that those are the three areas he's the best in
-Demosthenes- Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I am an expert in the three branches of science (biology, chemistry, physics) More like the three branches of natural science (instead of all science), social sciences are often forgoten for some reason.
rakuenso Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 lol i remembered when I though I was an "expert" in biology, then I worked in a lab.
swansont Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 More like the three branches of natural[/i'] science (instead of all science), social sciences are often forgoten for some reason. And I'd check to make sure there were no geologists lurking a dark corner, brandishing a sharp piece of obsidian or large chunk of granite. But there's a school of thought that any field of inquiry that feels compelled to put "science" in its name isn't really science.
flyboy Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 8th grade, junior high hope to be an aeronautical engineer, mechanical engineer, or electrical engineer or 2 of the above
