Guest BusConductor Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Another day, another concept…it’s beginning to piss me off. http://www.pumpupthedots.com Have you guys seen this? Internet advertising based solely around a webpage based solely around internet advertising based solely around a webpage – it would be genius if you stopped the thought process before it became circular. I know the internet has room for plenty of strange concepts, but I do find this one faintly ridiculous. Been reading, http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com started it all – some student trying to go through Uni without amassing a large debt in the process, so I guess it’s fair to try, but is it just me or does the whole thing stink of a bubble inflated simply through its own hubris? Can this work in the long run? Or even medium term? Is it really working now?
Phi for All Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Since you joined to post this, I suspect you are advertising for it. Convince me otherwise or this thread is gone.
diltron Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 he makes a good point, your just doing the opposite of what your saying, nice job
JohnB Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I bought a dot once, but it fell into my "portable hole" which then imploded. This led to the sock eating black hole in my laundry.
