BigMoosie Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I don't particularly fancy fruit very much, nor do I enjoy drinking water unless I am truly thirsty to the point of dehydration. I would much prefer to drink several litres of fruit juice per day. Would this be adequate to no longer have to drink water or eat fruit? Would it have any negative effects on my health? I felt this was the most appropriate forum, please advise me if this is not true.
CanadaAotS Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 well you do get fibre from fruit (and I'm sure you dont get it in the fruit juice)
Phi for All Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Many fruit juices have added sugars you wouldn't get with fruit alone. I also think several litres of fruit juice would exceed even the natural sugars contained in normal daily servings of fruit. I drink almost exclusively water (except coffee in the mornings) because I disliked all the stuff I was putting into my body. Like many people, I was keeping track of what I ate, but what I drank was not part of the equation. Now as I drink water I picture it's purity cleansing my system and giving me just what I need without all the extra sugars and chemicals found in sodas, juices and other popular beverages. Water rocks!
