RyanJ Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Hi everyone. I have an idea that may be interesting - an articles section. People would write an article and post it for everyone else too see and use. Say for example you could post an article on using trigonometry or the making of Copper Oxide (Only an example). These would obviously have to be validated and made shure they are safe to post first by a member of staff but this could be a useful idea. Does anyone have any oppinions on this to share? Cheers, ryan Jones
herpguy Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 i like it too but another place to do it is wikipedia
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Alternately, we could nag blike about getting the wiki set up again. We had one, long long ago, and blike decided to do it again, but not much has been done other than talk.
bascule Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Instiki! Although a cooler toy to play with right now is Semantic MediaWiki
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Actually I think blike is interested in either my own personal creation, scWiki, or MediaWiki. The advantage of using scWiki is that he can throw a feature at me and I'll be glad to implement it. And I'm already thinking about making it more "semantic."

I wasn't around for the first wiki, but it seems like a really good idea, and a useful one.
