KHinfcube22 Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 ...I was just wondering if any of you have Emulators on your computers, or know any good SNES or Genesis websites?.... I'm currently playing Shadow Run on my comp.... How about all you.....(and shut up about my pathetic grammar....I do it on purpose....).......
Loki Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I used to use a SNES emulator for Chrono Trigger, FF6, and such. I forgot what emulator it was... Zsnes or something. oh, and most websites have been shut down. there are a few left. i remember a website i used a lot with only rpg roms, which is all you'd ever need really . Also, i'm sure you could try kazaa for roms... maybe?
atinymonkey Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 All hail MAME32. Hurrah 478 roms sitting on my hard disk waiting for me to indulge in illicit arcade tomfoolery. Can't get the roms anymore but stuff it. I've got enough.
Dave Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 used to have loads of them, don't any more though, lost them when my hd died :|
KHinfcube22 Posted August 21, 2003 Author Posted August 21, 2003 Thats sad....Whens the funeral?.....I found a few good sites...but there really hard to get to......Can't remember the names though..... I'm also try'n to find the orginal english version of Star Ocean.....
Loki Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Go get one of those SNK emulators and download samurai showdown 1/2/3. you'll be glad you did

sepultallica Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 man, all the sites i saw with emulators and roms gave me a million pop ups. my computer at work is still trying to recover.
alt_f13 Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Originally posted by dave SNES rocks you I like that. Mario 64 all the way. I completely beat it 3 times this month, just to play the snow levels. And if you like snes, get METAL WARRIORS. That is the best snes game ever. Mech fighting platform where you can eject and fly around and jump into other mechs.
Dudde Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 blike said in post #10 :NES roms > all dave said in post #11 :SNES rocks you, especially donkey kong, woohoo both very well made points, as both SNES and NES are two of the best consoles ever made;) along with atari^_^
atinymonkey Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 N64! Goldeneye ! Best game ever make I have to say that, my flatmate at the time sold the SNES to get it. And I was on the last level of Zelda
KHinfcube22 Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 Ok, you guess are weird......Earthbound for the SNES is the best game evermade though......
newbie Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 Can't find roms anymore? Ever here of bit torrent--I get mine there. Geez do I always have to hold your hand?
amoda Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 isn't like all of this stuff illegal and all? i do download songs and movies cause i know that they are legal now in canada but im still unsure if roms and all are legal now. Anyone know?
KHinfcube22 Posted May 11, 2004 Author Posted May 11, 2004 hey, if the copyrights expired its legal. The copyrights only last ten years, so all the old stuff is free game. [lol, pun] Anyway, I found this amazing site for them. Look up emu russia.
J'Dona Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 I've only got a few NES roms on my computer... Kirby's Adventure, A few Megaman ones and Final Fantasy 1. Other than that I play NES games on our real NES here at home. (I considered buying a real NES FF1 cartride but they're all in the USA and I can't be bothered to wait) Anyone else remember Battletoads for NES? Still haven't gotten past the 4th level, after more than 10 years on and off. :/
-Demosthenes- Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 man, all the sites i saw with emulators and roms gave me a million pop ups. my computer at work is still trying to recover. Yep, me too. It's not worth it to get the roms and emulaters. I have to try like 5 emulaters before I find a good one, and they never work very well, and are very buggy (at least the ones I've gotten). But I've found a good site for sega genesis on this spanish site, I forgot where though. It's just too hard when the emulater messes up and shuts down sometimes.
Dave Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 Ah, the joys of having LAN filesharing (there's about 200-400 roms on our local lan).
KHinfcube22 Posted May 13, 2004 Author Posted May 13, 2004 http://emu-russia.km.ru heres the url for the best rom site ever!!! it has a english translator if you don't speak russian
