Pangloss
I thought McCain was unusually blatant in his anti-Bush bias. Don't get me wrong -- I was glad to see it. Frankly I'm unhappy with myself that I voted for Bush over McCain in the primaries in 2000. If McCain runs against Hillary in 2008 I'm going to have a seriously hard time making that call. I like the guy a lot.
Nevermore
I saw it. McCain is what republican used to mean. Sigh. He is a good man.
john5746
I voted for McCain in the primaries. I think he is a true hero, but that doesn't automatically get my vote. I would more than likely vote for him over Hillary, but not sure about the Repub primaries. He may just be a better senator than a president. I am not sure about his fiscal stances. I just knew almost anyone was better than Bush, except for Gore - or so I thought at the time.

ecoli
If the 2008 election comes down to Hillary vs. McCain I am so voting Republican I might have to also... I mean Hilary, for god's sake. And don't yell at me for being sexist, because I'm pretty sure she has a penis. I thought Guiliani had a good chance for the Republican ticket in '08. What happened to that one? swansont
Stewart's remark at the end of the interview about whether Cheney is a cannibal reminded me that a few weeks ago the veep hosted, as the email I got put it, "A wounded soldier BBQ." Made me think he was roasting the lads/lasses on a spit. Wounded ones would be easier to hunt down. (we were being warned away from the building to be used in the event of rain, since it was too big for him to host at his residence. And it rained.) So maybe Stewart knows something... What happened to that one?[/quote'] Eh, I don't really want to see Guiliani on the ticket in 2008. A McCain vs. Clinton (Hillary or Bill) would be a dream come true. Seriously, a euphoric win-win situation where I would walk around everyday in some sort of dream world stupor... mmmmmm...
