Kedas Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 http://www.space.com/imageoftheday/image_of_day_051110.html It could be a spaceship with an engine failure.... Well, it can also just be a star that is traveling fast due to some unknown reason. What brought this star up to speed? A black hole seems to be the only explanation.
ecoli Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 a spaceship the size of a sun? Sounds like that would have some problems with it's gravitational field and trying to visit other planets.
eruheru Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 could be a fleet of ships. and the death star was the size of a moon so whos to say it cant be the size of a sun? it could act as a mothership
Kedas Posted November 11, 2005 Author Posted November 11, 2005 Earth is also a 'spaceship' you know (although without engine) It's just an alien race that figured out how to travel by moving their entire solar system. (this way they never have to worry about going back or getting lost) Well, for now it will just have to stay under pneudoscience LOL
swansont Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 ...shown in this artist’s interpretation... Just so you know.
Kedas Posted November 11, 2005 Author Posted November 11, 2005 ...shown in this artist’s interpretation... Don't spoil it.
Mokele Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 and the death star was the size of a moon so whos to say it cant be the size of a sun? The death star was *fiction*.
Douglas Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 http://www.space.com/imageoftheday/image_of_day_051110.html It could be a spaceship with an engine failure.... Yeah, looks like it's back firing.......... putt putt putt.
