Severian Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 A new site has recently come online at http://www.particlephysics.ac.uk all about particle physics. In particular, there are some quite nice (basic) presentations of the fundamental principles under the 'explore' heading. It hink it is worth a look for anyone who is interested in this sort of thing.
RyanJ Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Great link Severian! Good find and thanks for posting it for us! Cheers, Ryan Jones
jcarlson Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I like all the info about the new project at CERN. I can't wait til 2007 to see what discoveries they make!
timo Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I like all the info about the new project at CERN. I can't wait til 2007 to see what discoveries they make! I didn´t browse the pages Severian suggested but if you´re interested in CERN and especially the LHC you could also visit the CERN homepage itself: http://www.cern.ch . At first, the page might seem a bit confusing but there´s a lot of information to be found there.
