ecoli
a chromasome is a pair of chromatids, so you technically right. Two chromatids come together to form a single chromasome
Aubiegirl
If you're ever in doubt about how many chromosomes are in a cell at a given time (it can be confusing because a chromosome can have either one or two chromatids depending on its mitotic state) a good rule of thumb is to count the centromeres.
