rakuenso
I just made a 70Hz sine wave on the computer, it was pretty kick ass. Everything in my room shook on a standard 120W subwoofer Anyone else want to give it a shot? http://ancient.ssforum.net/70HzOwnage.wav Note: Don't bother if you don't have a subwoofer

rakuenso
audacity I'm actually looking for a program that can shift through a series of frequencies 10 hz at a time so i can find resonance easier
CanadaAotS
even though this computer only has built in speakers I felt the keyboard vibrate slightly lol, I'm gonna try it at home where I have really nice speakers =)
danny8522003
I use NCH Tone Generator when i was trying to set up my sub, it might work well for trying to find those resonance frequencies.
rakuenso
Just tested 45Hz, for some reason it works quite nicely as well
5614
I haven't got a subwoofer and these are fairly cheap speakers... mind, I've got decent 5.1 surround sound (obviously that includes a subwoofer) downstairs linked up to the TV, so I'm gonna have to try and get some sound files onto a CD and then play that downstairs through the DVD player (which plays mp3 (and hopefully other audio formats!))
