Dak Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 Wow, its up! glad you guys liked it. And: nice jewish version, big moosie! just a thought: how easy would it be to copy the SFN template and whach big-moosie's image up on one template, so that we could chose christmas/hannika at SFN? Ah! Something isn't quite right with your image Dak, it leaves a little white bar underneath...anyone have any idea why? Can you save it directly as jpeg? I had to convert it with gimp...maybe that had something to do with it. m$ paint + shaky hands = hard to clip it down to the right size; soz.
5614 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Nice one dak, I like the extra snow, it's great. <-- and I made a politically correct festive avatar!

5614 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Yeah I know... I stole the snowman and hat (resized) as well... hope you don't mind.
ecoli Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Yeah I know... I stole the snowman and hat (resized) as well... hope you don't mind. not particularly... after all, I just stole it from google image search. Copyright laws? who needs 'em.
doG Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 not particularly... after all, I just stole it from google image search. Copyright laws? who needs 'em. Or you could just look for the image at Wikipedia where it's likely been released to the public domain.
Dave Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Here's my contribution. It's animated, so it's pretty monstrously large for an image. But it looks fairly cool, so meh

Dave Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Trouble is that it makes it very difficult to actually animate that on a continuous loop. Plus, my animation sk1llz aren't really that amazing

Dave Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Indeed. Hence I just did easy snowfalling stuff
Severian Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 These aren't really Christmas logos though - more winter logos.... ... they look good though.
Dave Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Anyone mind if I put the two logos up on a randomizer?
