swansont
Former Sen William Proxmire, who used to give out the "Golden Fleece" awards for supposedly frivolous government spending, died today (Thurs Dec 15). I think the government should spare no expense on a really elaborate memorial service for him, and possibly erect an ornate monument with lots of upkeep costs. 5614
I've not heard of him, sounds like a cool guy though. And I agree, a pointlessly expensive something sounds like a very good memorial!
