Amoeba Kills boy

An unidentified 12-year-old died Friday after being infected with an amoeba while swimming in a Florida lake.

Man, if that doesn't suck nothing does. Just one more thing we have to worry about. Oh well. If the super virus's weren't enough.

I have to admit, that sucks a lot. You can't even swim in a bloody lake for fear of being killed by a microscopic piece of stuff.

I shouldn`t laugh, but I too, pictured Steve Mcqeen in the "The Blob" for a second or two.

was his immune system perculiar at all? as stuff like that can make you violently ill, but rarely kills?

I've never even heard of it until today to be fair. Apparently it's an extremely rare occurence.
