herme3 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Has anybody here had any success making money online? You need to be careful because many online programs are scams. I'm actually making a lot of money from http://www.12dailypro.com and they have over 200,000 members. Is anybody else a member of an online program where you can make money?

Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Those are all pyramid schemes--the money that new members pay goes to the ones that have already registered. Investing in them, or creating them, is illegal.
herme3 Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 a decent amount of movement on your website and google adds Yes, the Science Forums web site appears to be making money that way. Those are all pyramid schemes--the money that new members pay goes to the ones that have already registered. Investing in them, or creating them, is illegal. 12daily Pro is not only legal, but they are a registered corporation in the United States. They don't use new member fees to pay their old members. Instead, they make their own investments with your money to earn more money for you. Yes, pyramid schemes are illegal, but 12daily Pro is not a pyramid scheme.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yes, the Science Forums web site appears to be making money that way. Not enough to pay the server bills, as far as I know. 12daily Pro is not only legal, but they are a registered corporation in the United States. Yes, pyramid schemes are illegal, but 12daily Pro is not a pyramid scheme. And you can be sure of this how?
herme3 Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Not enough to pay the server bills, as far as I know. How does this web site make money? Does the owner pay the expenses and run the web site for non-profit? Anyway, I think the Google ads are a great idea. I've always hated web sites with tons of pop-up ads, especially the ones that go past the pop-up blocker! And you can be sure of this how? Visit http://www.secretary.state.nc.us/corporations/Corp.aspx?PitemId=7820076# to see their corporation information. It is under the name of "Life Clicks" which is the parent company of 12daily Pro. Also, the owner of 12daily Pro is hosting a huge convention next month in North Carolina. If 12daily Pro was illegal, I doubt she would make a public appearance like that.

Okay, but your use of "she" in reference to a company scares me.
the tree Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 blike uses the ads to help pay for the server. The rest is paid by him. He's not using the site for profit.Awwww... that's so....nice. *hugs blike*
herme3 Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 blike uses the ads to help pay for the server. The rest is paid by him. He's not using the site for profit. Blike owns Science Forums? I always thought it was owned by Sayo. Okay, but your use of "she" in reference to a company scares me. The owner of 12daily Pro is named Charis. She obviously knows how to run a company because of 12daily Pro's huge success.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Blike owns Science Forums? I always thought it was owned by Sayo. Sayo wasn't even originally an admin--Fafalone (a friend of blike's) was, and then Sayo was made into an admin, and Fafalone left because of it. The owner of 12daily Pro is named Charis. She obviously knows how to run a company because of 12daily Pro's huge success. Ah.
herme3 Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 I forgot to warn everyone about some of the online programs that are believed to be scams... http://www.4daily.com was once a very popular program. Their members were earning a lot of money. However, one day the owner said that they were out of money and that all account balances needed to be reset back to $0.00! The owner of the program, "Jim Hunt", used a fake name. Many people believe that his real name is Kevin Hewitt. Recently, 4Daily announced that they are under new ownership. Some people say that 4Daily has become a great way to make money again. Other people say they are a scam. You should use your own judgment to decide whether or not they are a scam, but I can say that I won't be investing any money in 4Daily. http://www.5daily.com is a place where a lot of people lost lots of money. They used to pay their members on time. However, they ran out of money to pay their members. The site is still open and they are letting new people join and pay them money! I don't understand why they don't close the site... http://www.6dailysurf.com is the site that really makes me mad! As far as I know, they have never paid any of their members. I still receive e-mails from them that say I should invest in them. However, they owe me money that they never paid me! I e-mailed them multiple times, but I never received a reply. You can visit http://www.autosurfmonitor.com for some great information about different online programs that are successful, and those that are scams.
Rebiu Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I have sold about $50,000 in glass over two years online. Great outlet as there is no sales tax unlike brick and mortar retail and art shows.
Nevermore Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Herme3, please don't post ads. I'd hate to get out my troll stick...
