fafalone Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Popular Science has published an article outling the worst jobs in science. Some of these are very disgusting, and no doubt there are those among us here who have had to endure jobs like this while working in labs, and alot of us can also look forward to these experiences as we climb the ranks of the scientific ladder. http://www.popsci.com/popsci/science/article/0,12543,484153-1,00.html
Dudde Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 HA! I'm climbing the game ladder;) ....basically the same stuff...but less gross, and less pay:-p
YT2095 Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 Read the article. sheesh! I`m glad I`m a contractor and can kinda choose my work and use my own Lab! though saying that I have had my fair share of total gross outs!, even puked upon a slide the once preparing it (I hadn`t long woken up and it was an "emergency"). But some of that stuff in that article, hell no! YUCK!
Steve O'Shea Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Darn, a lot of what I do entails both 9 & 13; fleeced another sperm whale today, and reek!
Auk Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 That fart job, I don't know how that guy can take it. That's just sick.
badchad Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Seems like the link is broken. I thought I saw "post-doc" on there the first time. I'm glad I'm breakin my balls through graduate school just so I can have a shot at one of the worst jobs in science. LOL
Gilded Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 "Seems like the link is broken." I got a 404 too. Bohoo, just when I wanted to be very disgusted. :<
Auk Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Lol, I got to read the article once and then the error came up.
ecoli Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 did they take it offline? Maybe they just moved it. can anyone find it?
Auk Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 The article came out a few months ago they might have deleted it from the site.
