temp = average kinetic energy of molecules but if 2 bodies have same average kinitec of molecules then both will have to the same total heat energy

1kg water at 1oC will contain 4186 energy so a body of same mass at the same temp should contain same energy since average kinetic energy is same

you were doing so well up until here. if i take a kilogram of aluminium and a kilogram of water, both at 25 Centigrade then the water will have the most heat energy but they both have the same temperature.

Heat is the Total amount of kinetic energy in the object.

temperature is a measure of the average per molecule or other arbitrary unit.

Heat has to do with energy of a substance.

Temperature is the average energy of a substance.

Proof that these concepts are different can be seen if we look at a graph of temperature versus time for a sample being heated. The graph levels off at the temperatures where phase changes occur. If these two concepts where interchangable then the graph would not level off, it would be a smooth line.

To be Simple

Heat is the amount of enegy in the body

Temperature is the relative measure of heat energy

Really no.... Heat is an energy TRANSPHERE. Temperature is a statistical measure of kinetic energy of atoms/molecues.
