Guest quantumjello Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Does anyone in here like to watch the History Channel? There's going to be a documentary starting the 26th about some new discoveries about the last moments of the Titanic tragedy. There are apperently some new theories that could change how we look at what happened. Anyone planning to watch?
JustStuit Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Well...Certain channels like to make a big hype of nothing. Discovery seems to take the cake but I'm not sure History is above it. I'm guessing they have relatively nothing and they want more viewers.
Guest quantumjello Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 lol I know what you mean about some channels doing that kind of thing - I've always had respect for the progrqamming on the history channel. Recently I've actually had a chance to work with them a bit and from what i hear this documentary has some pretty interesting twists on what really happened... you can check out the show online if you want http://www.history.com/titanic
insane_alien Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 i'll flick over to it for a minute or 2 see if they can produce anything i haven't heard. probably turn out to be a repeat under a different name.

Did you get a chance to check it out last night? I dont think there's any way anyone could have already known about this evidence that the ship was hit form the bottom and it broke in half in the opposite way of what we originally though. I'd like to hear your thoughts...
insane_alien Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 whoops missed it... i was at a friends flat and she doesn't have cable.

Y-S Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Yes, I have heard. I heard that the ship sank was actually an Olympic, not titanic but they replaced the titanic with olympic because the titanic wasn't finished, so....i'm not really sure but I guess providing links to you guys won't do any harm.... also, i have heard that the steel that made the Titanic was high in sulphur...which made the steel very brittle in the cold.....right? http://olympic.txc.net.au/OlympicTitanicTheTruthBehindTheConspiracy/index1.html http://www.euronet.nl/users/keesree/conspir.htm http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0806518901/026-5465218-1390009 http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0711026335/026-5465218-1390009 http://www.historychannel.com/titanic/ Here is the documentary "Titanic the ship that never sank"... http://www.putfile.com/sauron/media Another movie... http://media.putfile.com/The-Titanic-leaving-the-Thomson-Locks Enjoy watching & browsing
