Sticking Mp3's together?

Any of you know a way, or program which would allow me to convert serveral mp3 files into one long track?

Audacity, i've done it with that 27 hour mp3s are good. although its a bitch to change around.

It took me a while to figure out Audacity was the program and not an interjection (eg Oh the audacity!) lol. Maybe I'm crazy

Apparently there is a function in iTunes that will let you rip adjacent tracks as one, but I haven't done it yet.

 

However, on a mac you can do it with the cat command

Using cat will not produce a valid MPEG bitstream.

 

You should really use a program designed to combine multiple MP3 files into a valid MPEG bitstream, such as this one:

I do it on a weekly basis so I can cut and paste parts of mp3's together. That way, if there is a good part of a song I like, I make it repeat in the middle... Its called Wavepad.

I use Adobe Audition to modify my mp3s. It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of the interface. It also allows you to export the music in a lot of different formats.

The absolute best program you can use for this (Not my opinion- this is a fact) is something called MixMeister.

I'm pretty sure you can get it from download.com

Acoustica is also decent.

I really only use Audacity for editing loops
