Sayonara Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 I SURE DO! You could make it easier by sticking guestimates in the database for us all
YT2095 Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 is this about the new "Activity" line under our status? IF it aint ignore this if it is, What is it and how does it work?
blike Posted October 5, 2003 Author Posted October 5, 2003 yea, thats what activity is. If you click someone's profile at the bottom you see how long they've been online total. Also, check here: http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/timeonline.php
YT2095 Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 cor blimey, i`m second from top!? I know I leave it on all day when I`m awake, and click refresh every half hour or so, but I didn`t think I was THAT enthusiastic although Science makes my whole life worth it, along with other things, trivia really, ya know, wife, food, sleep etc...
blike Posted October 5, 2003 Author Posted October 5, 2003 lol, well, it just started counting like 3 days ago. I would have to be at the top if it started when the site started
YT2095 Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 This is indeed true How is it calculated though? it can`t be by simply sitting on the chan, as I`de more than likely win hands down (too lazy to close down at night). and so I know it`s not based on that alone....actualy don`t tell me, I`ll prolly get accused of cheating myself ! and then the next thing ya know I`ll have a "Pink Heart" avatar aswell!
blike Posted October 5, 2003 Author Posted October 5, 2003 rofl....the webserver calculates it based on your activity on the website.
fafalone Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 None of you can compete with my online time... either on the site or the irc channel
Sayonara Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 If it were me, I'd have written a clause into the Online Time hack that blocks logging for the "who's online" page or deducts the time spent there. However, even if I did there would still be a very obvious way of cheating with no evidence whatsoever.
Dudde Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 sayonara's a cheater at everything so is Fafalone. he's in the irc 24/7, and yet he only talks maybe 2/10 times I go there.... I'm beginning to wonder if he's really not there *scratches head* but would my computer really lie to me?
Sayonara Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 That's because fafalone is a bot. fafbot. Sounds evil to me :-/
Dudde Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 we do? fafbot kind of sounds like a robot made by faf for purposes of taking over SFN.... he controls half already though, so what good would that do?
blike Posted October 6, 2003 Author Posted October 6, 2003 he controls half already though, psh, only because of my great mercies and kindness.
neo_maya Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 I went to the chat room - (although not quite sure if it was the chat room) - and read the line "Fafalone has set mode(s) +l 7 on channel #scienceforums" Is this supposed to mean anything?
Dudde Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 just that the evil fafbot is casting dark ritualistic spells in the always-empty chatroom...it's the safest place for him to work
neo_maya Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 lol But, everytime I had been to the chatroom, I saw @fafalone present. Check - if he is casting spells or he is just sleeping.
Dudde Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 that's the fafbot sometimes it gets crafty and talks, so we all think faf's in there
Sayonara Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 It's like a fembot, only it doesn't have a beehive wig or thigh-boots so it got retasked.
Dudde Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 who edited the title of this threadO_o I have a feeling it wasn't blike o_o
Sayonara Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 I know someone else using the "who's online" page.
