After doing so, their class visited Fermilab. Following their visit, they were asked to draw another picture and write another description. It makes for quite the juxtaposition... as you might be able to guess their perceptions were radically altered by real-world interaction with scientists, rather than what the media and movies have always told them they were supposed to believe scientists were.
