Guest john768
I am starting university next year and I am having trouble on deciding what to major in; I would like to work on "discovering" new forms of energy or something that involves the discoveries or inventions that will better the environment, the lives of people in third world countries or society in general. As you can see I am very confused and would greatly appreciate the breakdown of the different majors and any advice you may have. thank you! -Demosthenes-
You just have to take some classes, think about it, and decide. It's kind of fun.
s pepperchin
I think that if you are interested in forms of energy you should start out with a physics degree. That will give you time to learn the physics you will need and help point you in the direction you end up going. Any research into new forms of energy will require a Masters or PhD and it is at that point you can choose an area of focus.
