My school only offers AP Calc AB.. I would like to have AP Calc BC credit if I can but I wonder how hard they are.

Share your opinion here. Thanks.

AP Calculus BC is just an addition of a little a more advanced level studies in calculus to AB Course. IMP' date=' I don't see any major difference between the courses. Everything depends on how well prepare you are, which depends on how focus and devoted you are to your studies. However, it also has something to do with your intelligence. But in this case it doesn't have much effect as you'd probably (and you should) have courage to understand the analysis.

Check out College Board's website for specific details.

I would just check what's on the BC that's not on teh AB and study that on your own. The test isn't that hard, if you know the material. No hard integrals or anything, they're just making sure you know the basics.

You could try signing up for a Calc. II class at a university. That would cover all the material you need for calc. BC...

On a more practical note and it depends on your university, but at mine a 2 on the BC exam places you out of the same math class as a 4/5 on the AB exam. If you are taking this to get out of some intro classes in college id definetly go for the BC. Perhaps it might be tougher but depending on where you want to go to school it might be beneficial.
