RyanJ Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 And hey' date=' also check http://cybersuneel.tripod.com/music.htmSome fractal music! Yea fractals are nuts - I have heared fractal music before but thats a big collection The first one looks like a wierd dimentsion with lots of worm holes. The second on is a bit harder sort of reminds me of the patterns made in particle colliders Cheers, Ryan Jones
Halucigenia Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 quite simple formulaes....would u plz give an example of one such formulae?...also, what does if mean to run it over and over? does it mean that the formulae is graphed multiple times? The mandlebrot set is based on the formula [math]z=z^2 +C[/math] That's quite simple. My favorite is based on the formula [math]if \ (real(z) < 0) \ z = (z+1)*© [/math] [math]else \ z = (z-1)*conj© [/math] Which is not much more complicated so the colors aren't unique to the formulaes then, right? is the only purpose of the colors to show the aesthetic value? Most fractal generating programs allow you change various parameters such as colours.
alan2here Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 http://www.with-logic.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15 a breif explanation of fractals followed by some fractal art I created :¬) enjoy
alan2here Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Edit: sorry, doubble post, I dont know why that happened
