What I was getting at is that it's pretty relative. And really the nicety isn't really the overall temperature, but the lack of insane extremes. This is due to the presence of water, it's high specific heat, and how it moderates our temperature.

I just found it odd originally that with such extreme temperatures that could be reached in the universe we are at a pretty constant low compared to those extremes. Kinda makes sense since the earth has alot of solid mass on its surface (and we have some solid mass in us). I guess I am saying we are partly solid cause we are "frozen" of sorts. That was what I was getting at. Hope I explained it well (I never do good with explaining my thoughts).
