beachbum Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 well I guess its pollen season again and my sister is having this huge allergy attack. Do any of you guys know some good home remedies or foods/herbs for allergy relief b/c she is EXTREMELY sensitive to medicines. Or maybe the medicine with midlest/least side-effects? thanks.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Sensitive to medicines? Could you at least give us details? Or perhaps do the more sane thing, and see an allergist instead of asking people you don't know on the internet.
herpguy Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Here's something simple: Rub petroleum jelly around your nose. BOOM! You'll have major allergy relief. This technique works for my mom.
Immunologist Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Please... see a physician or a pharmacist... Rubbing vaseline on the side of your nose will only catch some of the allergens coming in the nose. Anti-histaminic medication is usually a good solution to allergies (if your sister is really having allergies). Reactine... I think it was a sound advice to consult a specialist (pharmacist should do).
