MulderMan Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 The easiest and safest method i know of is fractional freezing. From my notes: -store bought hydrogen peroxide is usually 3% H2O2, 97% H20 -water freezes at 0 degrees (obv!) -H2O2 freezes at -11 degrees depending on your freezer, if you freeze the solution, and drain it off, the drained liquid will be relatively pure H2O2.
Darkblade48 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 '']Boiling also works Boiling would most likely speed up the decomposition of the peroxide rather than purifying it.
