pretender Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Just another thought... if a planet did die and the water turned back into its atom state, does that mean there are lots of hydrogen clouds in space??
insane_alien Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 how would a planet die? if you mean blow up than that'll only happen if there is a HUGE impact or a particularly violent advanced race living on it. besides hydrogen is the most common element in the universe. its every where already.

One will eventually get all types of space clumps composed of minerials within an ice matrix.

And to answer the actual question: There are lots of hydrogen clouds in space, but not because of planets exploding. Most of it is left over after the cooling of the universe left energy to coalesce into molecules. Pre-stars kinda.
