YT2095 Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 the only thing I can possibly GUESS at as to his meaning, is something to do with the chems found naturaly in charcoal Before it`s activated, there are potassium phosphate, hydroxide and carbonate present, these are normaly removed by an Acid/base/Acid wash (often used in radio carbon dating too). as for the Iodine???? nada clue.
