SquarePeg
From my perspective, Big Bang Cosmology (Inflation) is identical to the growth of a black hole. As such, there is no doubt what causes the cosmological redshift. The difficulty arises when speed-of-light timelags affect what the observer would see. Predicting what the universe would look like using relativity from a viewpoint outside or inside the black hole, or whereever, is non-intuitive. But we can look through our telescopes and see the result from at least one of those vantage points.

SquarePeg
You're too late. I've already set in motion a series of events that will collapse the universe into a form that I dictate. My sphere of decision is expanding outward at the speed of light and cannot be altered by anyone but ME!!! HA HA!!!

Severian
Black Hole inflation? Is that when you have so much demand for Black Holes, but insufficient supply, that you push their prices up?
timo
Black Hole inflation? Is that when you have so much demand for Black Holes, but insufficient supply, that you push their prices up? I think inflation is the opposite of that.

Psycho
Black Hole inflation? Is that when you have so much demand for Black Holes, but insufficient supply, that you push their prices up? Yes, but as long as the GDP of the universe rises at a larger percentage than it we will all be better off.
Waldo
Looking at your simulator, the black holes bounce off the sides?? Isnt the universe thought to be expanding... did you consider that??
MattC
I believe you. I didn't run your executable, though, because I didn't trust that there wasn't a virus in it. Umm .. Hmmm.
