herpguy Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Before I ask the question, I would like to warn you that this is a "think outside the box" type question. There is no mathmatical equation or anyhting like that to figure this out *hint hint*. It's just for fun. So here's the question: How can you fit nine cars into eight spaces?
insane_alien Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 i could fit them into one space if you gave me access to a crane and/or a hydraulic press.
sunspot Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 In South Korea some hotels stack them vertically. Another answer is conneted to width and length. One may be able to park them 3X3 perpendicular to the parking lines.
The Thing Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Oh AHAHAHAHAHAHA I get it!!11!1!eleventyone! No really, I don't think there are right answers. My answer is that you can fit nine cars like this: [hide] N I N E C A R S [/hide]
herpguy Posted May 7, 2006 Author Posted May 7, 2006 Great job, The Thing! Sorry, I wasn't specific enough with my qustion. I mean to say, "How can you fit nine cars into eight spaces when there is only one car per space?" ______________________________________________________ ~~~Awesome, my 300th post!~~~
ecoli Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Great job' date=' The Thing! Sorry, I wasn't specific enough with my qustion. I mean to say, "How can you fit nine cars into eight spaces when there is only one car per space?"[/quote'] If that's the question, then the answer doesn't make any sense. A letter is not a car.
Callipygous Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 If that's the question, then the answer doesn't make any sense. A letter is not a car. brain teasers often rely on incorrect grammar. how can you fit "nine cars" into 8 spaces? and i just realised thats not what you were saying. ignore my pressence.
