Cloud Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 hi could anyone help me shed some light on balancin this chemicle equation??? MgHCO3 + HNO3 ==> Mg(NO3)2 + H2O + CO2 Mg 2Mg 2H 2H C C 6O 9O N 2N Thats how many atoms of each element are present in the reactants and products.
woelen Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 First check your reactants! MgHCO3 is a non-existent thing and the reaction which you describe right now is nonsense. Before proceeding you have to find out what chemicals are present in reality.
