aj47 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I have a video in quick time format which I need to edit by cutting bits out. Do any of you know a program I can use to do this?
ecoli Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I usually use Windows movie maker for editing. I'm not sure if you can edit quick time videos in that, though. What's the extention of a quick time movie? .mov, right? You may be able to find some decent open source software if you don't have Windows movie maker on your computer already.
aj47 Posted June 4, 2006 Author Posted June 4, 2006 Don't think I have Windows movie maker on my comp but anyway yea im pretty sure its a .mov file. Vegas 6.0 You have to pay for that though don't you?

Yea, but it's a good program. Any Windows XP should have movie maker, check accessories or just under programs.
ecoli Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I found this on sourceforge... I haven't read any reviews though. And I'm not sure .mov files will work. You may have to get a file converter as well. http://openmovieeditor.sourceforge.net/HomePage
