I just took a case of beer out the car, the beer`s warmer than I`de like, but I know that the release of pressure makes things colder, but what would be the Most efficient way to do this?

A slow release of the pressure or a fast one and just cracking the can open?

and yes I realise that for a beer can the effect is insignificant, but the question still remains...

i would say a fast release because that means that external heat hasn't had enough time to be absorbed by the slightly colder can and beer once the pressure has started to drop.

Hmmm... so it`s like a ballancing act then, the prob is that this beer was room temp, well, just a little bit over room temp actualy (easily countered by pouring it into a frozen glass :)).

yeah, I figured the Quick release would kinda Shock the stuff into getting a little colder too :)

thnx :)
