Hello,

I want to determine the kinetic impact by meter square. The data I have is: speed, weight, diameter and lenght of the object.

Posted

Kinetic energy: [math] E=\frac 1 2 mv^2[/math]

Net Force: F=ma = applied - friction force

friction force <= Ru (R is the normal force and u is the coeficient of friction, I may be incorrect with this equation)

Impulse = Change in momentum

Momentum = mv

Other than that I don't get what you're asking...

maybe the pressure exherted by the projectile impacting a surface?

Yes, but oriented on the relationship between weight and speed.

you need to know how long it took to come to a complete stop or at leats finish accelerating due to the force of impact.

Ah yes, the range it could be up to 1000 meters, altough the common range will be under 500 meters.
