Pangloss Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Enjoy this rather pathetic Guardian op/ed in which the writer puts forth the completely unsubstantiated allegation that Bush/Rove/FBI stole the Mexican election for the conservative candidate. http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/greg_palast/2006/07/stealing_mexico_an_election_di.html Because, you know, the conservative party has been SO friendly to the US. And an evil Republican like Bush could NEVER even POSSIBLY enjoy the support of a liberal/left party. It's just inconceivable that he WOULDN'T tamper with their election! I'm amazed he doesn't suggest that Bush arranged for Britain to lose to Portugal in the World Cup.
PhDP Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 And an evil Republican like Bush could NEVER even POSSIBLY enjoy the support of a liberal/left party. Did you just used Blair to show some "liberal" governements are supporting Bush ? That's not very convincing....
silkworm Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I know that there is a huge uproar in Mexico about the election being rigged. I refuse to spin it however, that's sandbox stuff.
Sisyphus Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 I'm amazed he doesn't suggest that Bush arranged for Britain to lose to Portugal in the World Cup. Come on now, you know Bush doesn't care about stuff nations willingly do together.
ecoli Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 the article basically says. The exit polls in the 2000+2004 election didn't exactly reflect how the election went, which resulted in Bush getting elected. The exit polls in the Mexican election showed the same thing. Because a republican was elected, Bush fixed all the elections. That's some seirously messed up logic.
Saryctos Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 did they have a pre-called state due to timezone shift though =P
