Edelweiss Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 What classic movie are you? http://similarminds.com/movie.html
GutZ Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Apocalypse now. O_O http://images.similarminds.com/movie/5.jpg
GutZ Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Yes it was very good film...*pause* No, I know nothing about this "easy rider".
jordan Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I got Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Well, I am Mr. Smith...so that's at least accurate. But I've never heard of the movie. So much for a classic...
Forensicmad Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Whatever it is, I got Easy Rider. "You just want to maintain a calm, cool and comfortable environment." Yep, thats pretty much me
ecoli Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I got Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Well' date=' I am Mr. Smith...so that's at least accurate. But I've never heard of the movie. So much for a classic...[/quote'] If you've never heard of 'Mr. Smith goes to Washington' it doesn't mean that it's not a classic, it just means you're uncultured! It's a Frank Capra classic, featuring James Stewart. http://www.filmsite.org/mrsm.html
ecoli Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Easy Rider? isn`t that a Porno? http://www.greatestfilms.org/easy.html
scicop Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Platoon for me "you're an anxious foot soldier on the battlefield of life, seeking to avoid danger and preserve your security" hmm..and as a leader i'm "Hilter". Where is my regime??!! I can rule the world!

[/quote'] I kinda figured that. Thanks for reaffirming for me though! Really though, I've never even heard of it. I know I've not seen a lot of the classics (I tend not to like the 'Classics') but I've still heard of most of them. Oh well, I'm off to study American Pop Culture.
In My Memory Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 "You are Norman Bates from Psycho. You live the life a of a psychopath, you are impulsive, emotionally distraught, and probably homicidal." Oh dear
5614 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 "You are Sunset Boulevard. You are all about fame and success and avoiding being seen as ordinary." Ah well, good luck to me with the fame and success! Severian & IMM.... lol!
padren Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 I got schindler's list...so I guess I am like Monty Burns, except the shells he made for the nazi's worked.

[/quote'] It's basically about how corrupt politics are. Mr. Smith is a small time guy elected senator with strong ideals about government, but faces opposition due to the power of lobbyist groups and greasy senators. I won't give away the plot line or the great ending, but it's a great movie. Especially for all those interested in the inner workings of politics.
BobbyJoeCool Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Schindler's List... although, I haven't actually watched the movie...
ecoli Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Schindler's List... although, I haven't actually watched the movie... It's a very powerful movie. I highly recomend it.
mike90 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Wuthering heights. From the little description they give I can't say as I'm surprised. It actually sums me up pretty accurately. Haven't seen the movie though, although maybe I should check it out lol
