adsl1981 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 i herd someone saying that you some how can get more than 1 broadband connections down 1 line. I do not know if you need a special line. Is it ISDN that does it ? If any of ya kno tell me Thanks
Pleiades Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 My friend has done this with his DSL line, one line, one modem, a switch, and two computers, each connecting on a different internet account (at least I think that’s what he did). In his case each account was 512 kbits/sec and the DSL line could handle up to like 8 mbits/sec or something. This should also be possible with a cable modem, though you may need a separate modem for each account.
Quantoman Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 u can also use a hub or router to expand your broadband connection.
