I thought it would be interesting to see how many of you are willing to share fishing stories.

 

Today my father and I went fishing I was the first to catch anything and go a twenty-two inch Pickerel on my fifth cast. My second catch was a twelve inch bass. We tossed the pickrel back, they tend to be boney, and kept the bass.

After I caught my bass my father caught another twelve inch bass and soon after caught a fourteen inch one.

 

We are thinking about frying them.

the important thing to rem when cooking fish is not to cook it too long or have too many flavours going on, quick and simple is the best rule, if you`re going to fry it though, leave the skin on!

 

I`ve caught Pike a and Rainbow trout in Canada (many years ago) I actualy caught more than my father AND his mate combined

 

here in the uk most all is fresh water fishing (most are inedible) but at the beach (Notably Shell Island and Harlech), I often go "Fishing"/Hunting, for Crabs, Lobster Prawns and shrimp, razor shells, and clams, and yes, we DO eat those, usualy within hours of catching them back at the tent
