Cap'n Refsmmat Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Doesn't look like it, if Martin is in GMT-7 as his profile says and the blogger is in England.
ecoli Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Doesn't look like it, if Martin is in GMT-7 as his profile says and the blogger is in England. oh yeah, didn't see that.
Martin Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 Doesn't look like it, if Martin is in GMT-7 as his profile says and the blogger is in England. oh you could help me out, that GMT-7 is only approximate. I am on westcoast, currently PDT timezone (pacific daylight time) what actually is the relation to GMT? I was just guessing GMT-7 would love to be at that conference live blogging and all, no such luck.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 PDT is GMT-8, except during daylight savings. Close enough.
JesuBungle Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I think that's an excellent place for a blackboard. I come up with some of my best ideas on my...er em...thinking chair:embarass:
insane_alien Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 yes... well... i suppose they need to calculate the downward velocity of certain solid matter to avoid splashback.
gcol Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Would that be the mens loos or the womens loos? I relate this thread to the one about women not doing poos in public loos. Just another excuse for the anally retentive to prevaricate, perhaps.
Severian Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 There has been one in the loos in the Newton Institue for years.
