wiggy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Hey im just wondering if anyone know what biologically can cause a hot flush? I have looked on a few things but its all coming up with things that I dont need!! Thanks x
YT2095 Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 IIRC, it`s Something to do with Tryptophan and or Tyramine. the hot flush experience is to do with Vasodilation it might be worth using that as an additional search word.
DaveC426913 Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Fluctuating hormones are the initial cause, which affects blood vessel dilation and sweating etc.
