BobbyJoeCool
It was farly bad here... but it wasn't cold enough to stick to anything... it was like 34, so as soon as it hit something, it melted and created some large runnoffs. But otherwise, it was a LOT of LARGE flakes, and winds up to 30-50 mph for a couple hours...
aj47
You don't know how jelous I am. Last winter year where I live, it snowed about two times, settled then just as I was getting excited, melted. Damn English weather, I want to move north. ecoli
It's pretty cold on long island today. Not enough for snow, and definately not enough moisture even to rain. But, yeah, the Buffalo area can get pretty bad. When it snows, it SNOWS. I doubt he's in new york right now. The forcast for tomorrow in New york is a high of 13C with sun and 0% chance of percipitation Spoken like a true non-New Yorker... NYC makes up a very small area of New York! ecoli
You people don't know the true meaning of "cold" or "snow". Give me a break, Ottawa. According to these two sources, the average snowfall of buffalo is about 10 inches greater than that of Ottawa. And the average winter temperatures is about 10 degrees cooler. SkepticLance
You Northern Hemisphere types! You don't even know it, but your seasons are around the wrong way. Here in the real world, we have just come out of a terribly cold winter - worst for 30 years. Today is a glorious spring day. Sunshine, and the sea is blue and calm. Looking forward to summer in just over a month!
