Guest RMD Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Hey there. Im obviously new to this forum and I was just wondering what the general age was. I'm 15.
Sequence Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I'm 16, but I think most people are older. That gives way to the wonderful mature environment.

Klaynos Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I'm 20, 21 in a couple of months. Somewhere there is a thread with a poll in it for people to put their ages in... But younger members are always good, someone to carry on when we die...
blackhole123 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 dunno what forum you've been visiting. the maturity levels here are often lower than a drunken 4 year olds. So true, though I believe that I have contributed to that somewhat. Im 15, turning 16 next month.

bascule Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 17, although I'll be 18 in January. yaY for legal booze! If you lived here you'd still be 3 years off
the tree Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Well, it's fortunate that I live in a civilised country then.
Klaynos Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 17, although I'll be 18 in January. yaY for legal booze! You are aware that unlike the US, it is infact legal for you to drink it etc. in your own home and the only legality change is because you can buy it? As opposed to the US where it is illegal to touch it untill you're 21.
the tree Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 No, the change is that I can buy it, and drink it in a pub/bar/restaurant without food. Also, carrying booze around.
insane_alien Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 No, the change is that I can buy it, and drink it in a pub/bar/restaurant without food. Also, carrying booze around. the biggest difference is that your are pleased rather than disappointed when you get ID'd
Gilded Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I'm 18, and speaking of alcohol in Finland we have this (unusual?) system that allows you to buy and drink <=22% alcohol when you're 18 but you'll have to wait till 20 until you can buy stronger beverages.
1veedo Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 If you think people here are immature you obviously haven't been around the web that much. Forums like scienceforums.net, IIDB, and (real) programming sites generally have smarter/more mature members. OMFG here comes the illuminati bringing new world order choose YOUR side and fight to the death to defend it!
