Primarygun Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 The form created by the microsoft access is not very beautiful though the design is very useful and easy to follow. How do you decorate your form produced with access?
doG Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 With the built in VB editor. Put the form in design mode to get a look.....
Klaynos Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 The uninstall button doG is right in his comments though, it's quite simple to integrate VB stuff with access IIRC there is an inbuilt editor...
Primarygun Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 thanks guys. Is that any plug-in that allows the window to be decorated by photoshops?
doG Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Forms can have an image for a background. You can also decorate buttons and anything else on the form with an image(s)....
5614 Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 When viewing the form click the View button near the top-left of Access. As shown here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v601/5614/access.png Select the Design View and you can do a lot from there. As doG suggested; create your image in Photoshop, save it as an image and then go into your Design View and import the image.
Primarygun Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 thanks 5614 I imported an image into the access form. How can I make the other images on top of this newly added image? I want to use it as the background image.
Primarygun Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 ok I found it. Copy the image and then paste it will give it a higher priority to be put on a fronter position/ But does this affect the data processing ?
5614 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 No. An image in a form will not affect the commands and formulae within it. Well, you could argue that displaying the image will require processing power and will therefore make it run slower, but you would not normally notice that.
