Guest jack19
I have taken seminary algebra that needs a scientific calculator, rather with graphing capabilities. Is there one for the TC that anyone here might recommend…????
timo
Being happy with my TI-30 I am probably not really a big help to you on this topic. But questions about scientific calculators appear here from time to time. So perhaps you can scan over these threads to see if there´s useful info in them: http://www.scienceforums.net/showthread.php?t=22579&highlight=scientific+calculator http://www.scienceforums.net/showthread.php?t=5688&highlight=scientific+calculator
CPL.Luke
I'd highly suggest the 89, its lightyears ahead of the 83 in terms of ease of use, and capabilities. well worth the extra 30 bucks
Cap'n Refsmmat
I wouldn't say the TI-89 is great for ease of use, but it is great for advanced math.

Jesus called, he wants his calculator back! Haha, sorry I coundn't pass that up. Our math department has one of those in a display case like it's an ancient discovery. Anyways, I just got a TI-89 and I agree with CPL, it's well worth the extra cash. But before you go out and spend the money, check with your professor to see if you're allowed to use it. I can't use mine til next year =/
EvoN1020v
TI-83 Plus has been treating me well for 2 years now. ($110 CAN taxes included).
