blackhole123 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Ok Im having trouble on a calculus problem. How would I do this: The number of gallons of water in a tank t minutes after the tank has started to drain is Q(t)=200(30-t)^2. How fast is the water running out at the end of ten minutes?
Klaynos Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 fast implies a rate of flow, which would be the gradient of the line, do you know how to calculate the gradient from a given equation?
