BGMCFAR Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 this is just and idea where I live there is a lot of animal waste do to the fact that there are a lot of dairies what if we build a large aneroic digester to process the waste by creating methane gas then use that to create clean safe energy
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Methane released by decomposing manure is used for power by many farms already.
ecoli Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Methane released by decomposing manure is used for power by many farms already. Not nearly enough, IMO.
weknowthewor Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Yes we can have a biogas plant nearby...
hypefrancium Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 yes that would be helpful . including the fact that we wouln't have to polute water sources dumping all the waste
weknowthewor Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 boigas plant is a better option. also a lot of initial investment and idea will be needed.
