blike Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 From Slashdot: "I mean seriously, how many techies can be bothered faffing about with those stupid fairly light bulbs when you can use LEDs?" bwahaha, our trend has spread!
YT2095 Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 the word "faffing" or "faffing about" has been in use in the UK for some time now, it basicly means messing about or "hassle" as the USA people refer to it, the 2 terms are almost interchangable with a little grammatical tinkering or indeed used in conjunction, "Don`t Faff about with it, it`s too much hassle"
YT2095 Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Honest Indian here, I aint kidding faffing= Fuss, fussing, messing about, overtly complicated without reason, hassle with grammatical extentions it`s almost the polite way of saying another word that begins with F and in ING, but in no way at all rellated
fafalone Posted January 4, 2004 Posted January 4, 2004 yeah, you're all getting vulgarity warnings now. :worship:
