popjinx Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Does anyone know how to make 0.05 M acidified copper (II) nitrate solution from concentrated HCl and Copper (II) Nitrate solution?
encipher Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 You have to know the molarities of the initial solutions of HCl and Cu(NO3)2
YT2095 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 there`s not enough data in the question to give a meaningfull answer. personaly I`de start from Absolutes, such as Crystalising the copper nitrate, that at least gives you something of a basis to work from as it`s concentration is Known. you`de have to titrate the HCl to find out its concentration also. when you know these, then the rest is fairly simple
