Disney World ... is it going to be around in 50 years???

Hey!

 

My biology teacher told my class that Disney World will not be around in 50 years because of global warming. I was wondering if she is right or not. I mean it is kinda crazy about the global warming and all because it is really cold in Northern Ontario right now!

Sidestepping the whole global warming partisan hackery, if the sea levels do rise substantially, Orlando (including Disney) is basically screwed. Most of Florida isn't very high above sea level, and it's *very* flat, so a slight rise in sea level would result in substantial areas of land becoming underwater.
